De ribbon bar is nog in nette staat en past mooi op een Amerikaans uniform. Deze is voor de occupation medaille. Deze medailles werden vanaf 1947 uitgereikt voor personeel wat vlak na de oorlog in Duitsland of Japan als bezettingsmacht hadden gediend.

The ribbon bar is still in good condition and fits nicely on an American uniform. This is for the occupation medal. These medals were awarded from 1947 onwards for personnel who had served as an occupying force in Germany or Japan shortly after the war.
