WWII Britse/KNIL overjas op naam
De jas is oorspronkelijk gemaakt door het Britse leger. Na de oorlog werd veel materiaal doorgebruikt door het KNIL in Nederlands-Indie tijdens de politionele acties. Deze jas is doorgebruikt door soldaat Nibaele, welke op onderstaande website staat aangegeven als een Molukker binnen het KNIL .

Voor het doorgebruiken van de jas zijn de Britse knopen vervangen door Nederlandse. Uiteraard heeft de jas ook gebruikssporen. Een prachtige jas voor verder onderzoek!

The jacket was originally made by the British Army. After the war, a lot of material was used by the KNIL in the Dutch East Indies during the police actions. This jacket has been used by soldier Nibaele, who is indicated on the website below as a Moluccan within the KNIL.

For continued use of the jacket, the British buttons have been replaced by Dutch ones. OF course the coat has signs of use. A beautiful jacket for further research!
