WWII Amerikaanse Uniform Grouping
De set is nog in goede conditie en bestaat uit Officers Class A jacket, Officers Visor Cap, Officers Garrison cap, twee ansichtkaart formaat foto's, drie stoffen insignes en drie metalen insignes.
De set is op naam van Emanuel Belasco, een officier die onderdeel was van de Army Air Force. De jas heeft wat gebruikssporen maar is nog goed voor display. Het label is nog goed leesbaar en aan de binnenzijde is de naam van de drager leesbaar. Op de jas zitten een felt Air Force patch, officiers U.S. en USAAF kraag insignes en Major ranks op de schouders. Daarnaast heeft de jas een Pilot wing, Air Medal ribbon bar en een patch van 4 overseas bars.
De visor cap is een officiers uitvoering, helaas is ooit de leren zweetband vervangen voor een nieuw exemplaar. Waarschijnlijk na de oorlog. De garrison cap is een khaki officiers uitvoering met officiers piping en een major oak leaf pin.
Naast het uniform zitten bij de set ook nog een aantal losse items, twee 8e air force foto's van een neergestort vliegtuig (Belasco war geen onderdeel van deze crew, de connectie is onduidelijk). Ook zitten er een felt Air Force Patch, een British Made felt 9th Air Force Patch en Observer wing Patch los bij. Verder heeft de jas nog drie metalen insignes, een kleine wing, een officiers air force pin en een sweetheart bracelet met de naam Diane. Een mooie set voor onderzoek en voor display op een buste of mannequin!

The set is still in good condition and consists of an Officer's Class A jacket, an Officer's Visor Cap, an Officer's Garrison Cap, two postcard-sized photographs, three cloth badges, and three metal badges.
The set is registered to Emanuel Belasco, an officer who served in the Army Air Force. The jacket has some wear but is still suitable for display. The label is still legible, and the wearer's name is legible on the inside. The jacket features a felt Air Force patch, U.S. and USAAF officer collar insignia, and Major ranks on the shoulders. It also has a Pilot's wing, an Air Medal ribbon bar, and a patch with four overseas bars.
The visor cap is an officer's version; unfortunately, the leather sweatband was replaced with a new one at some point, likely after the war. The garrison cap is a khaki officer's version with officer's piping and a major oak leaf pin.
Besides the uniform, the set also includes several loose items, including two 8th Air Force photos of a crashed aircraft (Belasco was not part of this crew; the connection is unclear). Also included are a felt Air Force patch, a British-made felt 9th Air Force patch, and an observer wing patch. The jacket also has three metal insignia: a small wing, an officer's Air Force pin, and a sweetheart bracelet with the name Diane. A beautiful set for research and display on a bust or mannequin!
