De medaille heeft wat gebruikssporen maar is over het algemeen in nette staat. De medaille is op naam van Albert Leo Tixier. Tixier vocht tijdens de tweede wereldoorlog en de korea oorlog en kreeg de onderscheiding in 1948, de medaille is wel geproduceerd tijdens de oorlog.
