Men kon deze kruizen laten maken als aandenken aan een vader, broer of zoon die gesneuveld was in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. 
Een uniek en zelden aangeboden stuk geschiedenis!

Op het kruis staat de geboortedatum en overlijdensdatum van de persoon beschreven. Evenals de naam en het adres op de achterkant.
Ook staat op de achterkant nog wat informatie over de fabricatie van het herinneringskruis. Een interessant stuk voor verder onderzoek!

The date of birth and date of death of the person is written on the cross. As well as the name and address on the back. There is also some information on the fabrication of the memorial cross on the back. An interesting piece for further research!
